Our goal…

is to create an Organized, Ethical, Reliable, and FUN process for public discourse.

We want…

to get players out from behind social network echo-chambers and comments sections when tackling serious issues and to instead seek out new options using modern game design and technical tools.

And why we do this…

…because it’s super important to us. It keeps us up at night. People are overwhelmed and exhausted with social discourse. It doesn't have to be that way, and we are building a better path forward. Together, anything is possible.

Game Show Format

The Spoken Realms was originally built using in-house custom software for the Twitch platform, but it’s official launch will use a different platform more suited to a long running gameshow format.

Audience and players will earn tickets to win prizes in an ongoing raffle format. Tickets are awarded for participation only, never sold.

The weekly show will be 60 minutes and shorter pop-up shows will play throughout each month. As the show evolves, new spin-offs and events will become available.

calling people out on misinformation, disinformation, and hate speech
challenging and revising our own biased conclusions with hard analysis.

In doing so we foster trust among our players, audience, employees, sponsors, and partners who join us in that pursuit. By seeking the truth in all things, we can restore rational objective reasoning to the public discourse.

We consider ourselves to be a public servant in the private sector. We value people!

We want to make debate and discussion better for everyone. Our moderators engage in inclusive language and practices, and strive to serve as many players as possible and without cost or obligation required. In an ideal world, the games we play together can be shared by all peoples, in all locations, in all languages, any hour of any day. Together it is possible.

We embrace vulnerability, because we know that engaging in meaningful debate, discussion, and learning can be an eye-opening and emotional process. By providing a loving heart, we are here to help facilitate that process.

Peace

Debate and discussion is meant to bring us together, not drive us apart. We are committed to active engagement and resolution of issues that affect society at all levels.

Through our games, debates, and discussions, we strive to be good citizens in the global community.

We promote peaceful coexistence, respectful listening, awareness of social problems, and active participation to resolve those problems. By making time and space for peaceful coexistence now, we can better protect each other, ourselves, and the generations to come afterwards.
